A Fresh Start (I Hope)
Hey, I’m John.
I’ve been meaning to start a blog here for a while, but every time I tried, I’d overthink it and scrap it. My therapist keeps telling me that consistency matters more than perfection, so here I am finally committing.
The plan is simple: write once a week, even if it’s just a few lines. I want to track how I’m feeling, what’s helping, and what isn’t.
Lately, I’ve been focusing on little things keeping a morning routine, going for walks, making sure I eat on time. It doesn’t sound like much, but it actually helps me feel like I’m doing something. Still having issues with stopping small bad habits like picking at my nails but hey I'm trying!
I’ve also talked to my doctor about trying a new approach to my mental health soon. Nothing extreme, just something that might work better. I’m nervous, but hopeful. We’ll see how it goes.
